2004 Toyota Matrix

- 30mpg in mixed city/hwy driving, exc turning radius, Toyota reliability
- Driver seating for tall driver could be better
Purchased Sept 03 and still loving it after 16k miles! A perfect utility vehicle that gets 30mpg with flexible seating and plenty of storage for family or hauling stuff, from groceries to moving college kids with furniture. Nimble in traffic with a smooth ride and easy to turn and brake. A high quality stereo system finishes the interior that has plenty of cup holders front and back - the front passenger seat also folds to make a table for the rear passenger. The car also has two outlets for accessories, one on the dash and one in the center console storage compartment. I have not had any issues with finish or trim, typical and expected from the Toyota brand. I would purchase this car again, as a general purpose vehicle, for a family vehicle, and as an ideal vehicle for a college student or graduate. A great value and an excellent alternative to an SUV!
