- Compact but roomy.
- Flimsy body, bad fueleconomy,
I have never gotten as good a gas mileage as is advertised for this car...quite a bit worse in fact, as other owner have experienced, worse than my 1988 toyota camry. When I reported it to the dealership rep, he said the high fuel economy for this car has been set by the government So what? This car has terrible fuel consumption for such small size. Every 230-260 miles I have to refuel (22-24.5 m/g). I have owned toyotas for the last 19 years, this will be my last toyota vehicle. Rain and snow gets under the cover and around the gas cap area. This means early and quick rust problem in cold climate such as Ohio ,etc. Very noisy on the free way... By the way, my undergraduate degree is in specialization in Automotive Tehnology/Automotive Engineer. So I think if toyota continues this trend, eventually will loose the market as others did. By-by toyota.
