2009 Toyota Matrix

- Cute little car for my daughter, good highway fuel economy, 30+
- Noisy ride, horrible city fuel economy 16 mpg running AC and defroster.
Purchased As New

I own a 1982 Mercedes 240D naturally aspirated auto transmission that leaves my 09 Matrix in the dust while running the AC. - Good fuel economy, nice stereo (JBL), Good handling and power.
- Armrest could be longer, No leg room for drivers left leg, sunglasses dont fit in holder
Traded in my 04 GMC Envoy for Matrix XRS because of gas prices. I have had the car for 2 weeks and on my first tank of gas I got 26 mpg city and the 2nd tank I drove all highway and got 32 mpg.
Not bad considering the window sticker says 21-29 mpg. I'm impressed! I figured the mpg would be good but not better than what the sticker said. Anyway the car handles great (a liitle rough compared to my envoy slt) and is fun to drive. I cant wait to break her in so I can open her up and see what she can do!
By the way in the select a trim feature at the top of this page they have the XRS AT w 4 speed trans. It is a 5 speed AT!...read morehide
