- Better than advertised fuel economy; The ONLY Prius that actually looks good; Very comfortable ride.
- Speakers are barely acceptable quality; Too much glare on the 6" touch screen.
Purchased As New
Over all, I couldn't be happier with the Prius c Four. I drive 50 miles to work, so 100 miles per day (90% highway), yet I'm still averaging 53 mpg with each tankful of gas. Backroads seem to average OVER 60 mpg (with almost no "flat" stretches), and I've even seen 80s, 90s, and a few times I've maxed out at 99.9 mpg for a short stretch.
The car handles great with the 16" wheels; the breaks are VERY touchy at slowest speeds (when creeping toward a stop); you can absolutely get out of your own way entering highways (despite only 99 horsepower); and the car rides very quiet even at highway speeds (most of the noise seems to be the variations in pavement itself-- especially noted on newer, smoother stretches).
This car would be a great car for anyone looking for high mpg (city, highway or a combination of both), younger drivers, older drivers, and even small families. If you're in the market for a great little car that doesn't FEEL like a little car, DO NOT HESITATE to test drive a Prius c...
