2006 Toyota Prius User Reviews
4-Door Liftback shown
- It comes in silver
- ask me what I like about the car, it'll be easier
I know the gas milage sticker is an estimate, no matter what brand you buy, but this is an outright lie. Over priced, Toyota is riding the "clean air" stuff to the max.
It putts instead of goes. Very diappointed, shouldve stayed with the 06 Sonata.

- Great fuel economy, loads of room, great trunk, cool modern dashboard.
- blind spots, costs a bit more then advertised.
This car is really a wonderful towncar, and travel car. We got our prius a year ago and still love it. The fuel economy is pretty darn good. Only downfalls are that you dont get the 50mpg you expect but still over 40-45 its still great. Another downfall is that it comes in cloth seats, i know, i know its supposed to be eco friendly but the cloth looked cheap, so if you can get after market leather seats...DO IT!!!. It is just way easyer to clean and spills dont get sucked into the cloth. It would cost like, 1500 more..but its way worth it for resale. Its always fun to watch the car save fuel while your watching the screen and driving. If you can find one..get it..plus you can get a tax ride-off in Ca....read morehide

This car is way over priced, dealers act like they are doing you a favor by getting this car at msrp.Toyota should be ashamed of it self charging these over priced cars for people who want to make the earth less polluted. The gas milage is so untrue come on people 60 city 50 hwy yea if you push it with the engine off for 20 or so miles. No room unless you are small I am 6 foot 250 and it is small I mean small.I have a scion xb room for days and half the price.Wait people before you buy this car or you might regret it unless you have money to burn.Don't fall for the hype plue there will be many hybryds a lot cheaper in the near future because of the way this joke of a car has sold, so save your money and wait or get a scion xb which is toyota....read morehide

- Excellent car with good gas mileage - FUN to drive
- Some blind spots when merging into traffic
Have driven 44,000 miles and the car is wonderful. Most of the miles were put on going over 65 miles per hour. Average MPG for the 44,000 miles has been 48.2. This is not a big boat, rather it is a small very well designed small car with lots of power.

- Good fuel economy, roomy interior for a small car
- Over priced, rattle noise when moving, not so smooth
It has a surprisingly roomy interior, quiet when stopped, good fuel economy. But for $27000, it looks and feels cheap. Several interior parts rattle when car is moving. Cloth seat looks old.

- Not so good in North Westhern of USA
- Very hard to see on the back mirror
Over all it was great car, great riding no noisy on highway and very nice for the GPS. However, the gas mileage in the cold weather is only 30 miles or less per gallon. Toyota claimed 60/51 is mislead by 100% because I purchase 20 glallons and I drove for only 600 miles in the city. I have no idea how 60/51 came from? I thought instead of $29,973.00 for one Prius why should I use it for two Corolla. Gas mileage not very much different from my Corolla especially in Minnesota....read morehide

- Amazing fuel economy!! Although it's not the best looking car the oil age is OVER!!!
- Looks. But what's more important? Materialism and "nice cars" or our environment
I love driving it! It's a great car and Americans must convert to fuel effecient cars!

- Best Gas mileage in class, smooth starts and stops with good roadholding
- Boxy looking, not streamlined rear end,
No record of testing for accident survivability. Too slow for merging into freeway speeds. Sways in turbulance created by passing 18 wheelers. Boxy design and high road noise.
