2006 Toyota Prius User Reviews

- Good gas mileage, lots of leg room, fun for techies
- Have to pay MSRP :(
I LOVE my Prius. In Houston, TX, we can generally get an average of about 51-52 MPG. We have even gotten as high as 57. No, you will not get exactly the "advertised" EPA estimate, but those are under ridiculously ideal conditions -- they just changed it for that reason. If you want to get more tips for getting good mileage, try the Prius forums. Just changing the air pressure in the tires can make a big difference. So can driving the speed limit -- if you can stand it.
Everyone we show the car to loves it, and the backup camera is fabulous. It is surprisingly roomy and such a great car. And, for techies out there, the touch-screen controls are fun to have.
