2007 Toyota Prius User Reviews
- $9,246 - $9,646
- No trim specified for this review
- Great fuel economy, roomy interior, good handling, enough power to get out of the way
- Aux audio input and unusable power outlet in the console
I have a 100 mile daily commute from the country to the city. I was going broke putting gas into my truck. Now driving the Prius I am saving $2500 a year in fuel costs! And as gas just keeps going up the savings get even bigger. Plus the car is fun to drive and if you watch your driving habits you can easily increase your fuel economy. I am currently getting 45mpg without any extra effort.
Having owned a wide assortment of cars, trucks and SUV's, I find the handling of the car to be excellent. The interior of the car is well designed and the contour of the seats fit me very well. At the end of a long day and commute, my back doesn't hurt and I don't feel beaten up by the drive. Interior is roomy and can handle 5 normal size people without any problem.
The only negative I can find about the car is putting the Aux audio input jack into the center console and putting a power outlet next to it that you can't plug an audio device into without getting noise into the audio. Otherwise I'm sold on the car and my wife is in the processing of buying one. For sure this is a car for the times, especially as gas just went up 25 cents a gallon in a week.
