- Excellent fuel economy, very nice ride, lots of room for both back seat passengers and/or cargo.
- Driver's seat is not all that comfortable for long trips (400 - 500+ miles per day)
We have been very satisfied with the mileage. We didn't expect to get 51-60 as advertised. In the moutains of central Arizona, we thought 45 would be great - but we consistently average 49-51. We are very pleased with that - especially coming from the 7.3 Litre Ford Diesel. For all of our "running around" type of driving, this is a great car. I'm a professional musician and have no problem carrying my bass guitar amp, speaker, guitar case, keyboard & amp or, when playing horns, I can fit the bari sax, a couple of tenors & altos, music stands, and still have room for myself and a couple of passengers. It's impressive! This car has more "pick-up" than my wife's Chrysler New Yorker - and double the mileage! The only downside we've found so far is on long trips (like going back east - 2000 miles), it is not that comfortable. Anything over around 300+ miles per day gets old. In my truck, I was very comfortable doing 600-700 miles per day - so this is a big difference.
