- 46 - 50 MPG
- Besides the Hybrid Technology, everything about the car feels cheap.
Purchased As New
I've been driving this car for about 2 years now. Bought the car because of my long commute to work. I get consistently 46-50 MPG which is great. So far I have not had any problems and it runs well.
With that said, there are a lot of complaints about this car. First of all, the interior feel extremely cheap. Everything is cheap plastic, hallowed and dull. After about a year of driving, everything seems to rattle. Being that the car is naturally very quiet, the last thing I want to hear is my dashboard rattling. The car seat is very uncomfortable. The seat quality itself is very cheap. After driving for a while, I get no cushion and it doesn't really adjust to support my back. By now, the cotton on the seat is fading.
Overall, the car gets good gas mileage as advertised. So far no major problem yet after driving 2 years. However, I don't see how this car is worth 26K. It's a base model Corolla inside that gets 50 mpg. I should just bought 40 mpg non-hybrid car for under 20K. I can't imagine what the cost will be if my hybrid technology breaks.
