- Power, ride, handling, third row seat.
- Radio and temperature controls hard to see.
Although third row seat is small it comes in very handy for short trips. We love the ride, power, and sitting higher that a car (visibility).
Toyota needs to address the radio and climate controls that are virtually impossible to see during the day when wearing polarized sun glasses. This is a safety hazard because I have to look lift my glasses out of the way to see display....read morehide

- Best Bang for the Buck out there in auto land.
- None that comes to mind.
Just a great vehicle with a turning radius that is super. Lots of power, and gas mileage is good given the power this car has.

- Great fuel economy, Very smooth ride, Very comfortable in terms of driving
- No Navigation unit option like CRV
I dont understand some reviewers. This car gives me great gas mileage unless some other people drive very bad to get their gas mileage down. For the price, it gives 3rd row seating. I haven't found any SUV below $30K that gives 3rd row seating besides Toyota Highlander!

- Power V6, Handling, Space, Highway MPG, Quite Ride, Bluetooth Phone, Fun to drive!
- Ride is harder that your fathers cadilac. Does not float down the road.
This is the 6th new car That I have owned and the only one that after 3 months and 4000 mile has not had a single issue. No rattles the interior/exterior are perfect and I am very picky. I am one of those people that don't use car washes and hand wash only. The power is somthing else. I am probably one of the few with the V6 2WD and it will really move. Right now the only car that toyota make that is faster is the toyota avalon and it has the same engine as the Rav4. I went on a trip and got just under 29 MPG around town I get around 22-23. Before this I had a Dodge caravan I was lucky to get 19 so I am happy with the milage. Of the family cars I have owned it is by far my favorite of all time. Can't say of all because my other car is a Boxster....read morehide

- A lot of car for the money, Excellent gas milage, 269 Horse Power
- Weak trunk light, Leather seat option hard to find
First of all let me say that I have the V6 limited edition Rav4. I gave up on trying to find this car with leather seats because the dealers I tried had one or two in stock with features I didn't want. I finally settled on Fabric interior which I personally don't think is as ugly as some people say it is. The overall look of the car is great. Its longer and wider than previous Rav4 models but doesn't feel bulky when you're behind the wheel.
The Trunk light is on the trunk door which makes it almost useless. This is a minor inconvenience and overall you won't find a competing SUV that offers what the Rav4 does. I have the optional upgraded JBL stereo which is much nicer than the standard stereo. The stearing wheel radio controls and blue tooth cell phone controls are a luxurious touch that come in very handy and help you keep your eyes on the road.
I think people who complain about road noise or engine strain have the 4 cylinder model because I've had no such problems with my V6. The milage rating seems accurate for me though I mostly drive alone. The ride is very smooth and the engine is much more powerful than the Honda CRV or any other small SUV under 30k. I bought this car because my friend has a 1997 Rav4 with almost 250k miles on it. It drives like new and I would not be surprised at all if it drove another 100k miles....read morehide
