There are 5 user reviews for the Limited I4 4X4 trim shown below
- comfort, looks, storage capacity 4 wheel drive.
- rattley starting draught through buttons on door, no light under gear shift stick.
Purchased As Used
We have had the 4x4 Rav 4 Limited for just 6 weeks now. I did read reviews on it, and oneconcern I am ging to have in the snow is whether the window wipers get stuck, one reviw said they did with him, so I'll wait and see. I really feel comfortable in this vehicle. it has ample storage, It is comfortable, has nice feautures, I can't wait to try out the heated seats. The everglades green is a "different" green, but a beautiful shade. One thing I am short, and even with the drivers seat at the furthers more forward position i can't reach the pedals expcet with my tiptoes. So I have a seat cushion behind me, and voila, no more problem. The floor mats that came with the car had no holes in, and there were hooks on the floor for a mat with holes in, and they have broken. So much for them. Also I have to say that the healint system which is very nice, is sort of negated by a draft which coms out of the buttons in the door. And, the final thing is that there is no light under the gears on the gearstick, so the only way in the dark that you know which gear you are actually in is the instrument panel. I'm happy. Can work around things. Also on starting to accelerate from stop it has a muffler-y sounding engine. Not loud just a little rattely. If it gets worse we'll check it out. Waiting to see how she handles in the snow though. That's why we bought this kind of vehicle. The four wheel drive, and Toyota's reliability and 38,000 was good enough for us....read morehide

- noisy on the road
- should really get better gas mileage-bumper is weak like most newer cars.
I like everything else about this vehicle, the first non-American vehicle I have owned. It is responsive, quick, carries everything I need to carry and then some. I would not have the door swing up and down-being short, the side swing is much more efficient for me and easier to use.

- Great fuel economy, room & equipment
- Haven't found any yet...
Test drove the 2008 Honda CRV and 2007 Rav4 4WD but went with the 2008 Rav4 4WD Limited (4 Cyl). We own a Toyota Sequoia V8 as well but needed something with better mileage for traveling from the coast to the sierras and back. The 2008 over the 2007 are completely different we found. Nearly, or may have, doubled our MPG over the Sequoia as we'd hoped. We remain surprised at the power climbing from sea level to 7000' in the Sierras, during the summer, loaded with a family of four and trusty Golden Retriever. Nice power to weight ratio. Also, the rear seat leg room seems larger than the Sequoia somehow.
The Rav4 4WD Limited with heated leather seats & mirrors, sunroof, four wheel disk brakes and JBL sound system etc. is a winner for us. We are hoping this proves to be the case during winter 08/09 (snow) driving to the ski resort as well. One thing for sure is the gas gauge doesn't seem to move after a fill up for a long time. Safety & Fuel economy were our main decision makers on the 08 Rav4 4WD Limited......read morehide

- Nice looking small SUV, great acceleration and tight handling.
- Ride is too rough, every bump on the road is felt even the small ones.
This is my 7th SUV. Comparable to the Honda in size.
This small SUV is good for long distance on smooth roads, but
for short distances, the ride and gas mileage is poor.
The car feels like it is constantly bouncing. Every pot hole is felt.
The suv, does not even absorb the lightest bumps.
The ride is tight and I think that was Toyota main concern.
As far as the confort of this vehicle, absoultly horrible.
Toyota is going down hill in my book.
My last SUV was a 1997 Honda CRV, with 151k and that had a better ride. Shame on you Toyota for putting this garabe on the road.
I currently have a 2002 Toyota Sequoia with 38k and I love that truck.
This small SUV does not even come close. I should have bought the Honda CRV with Navigation, which the toyota does not come at all.
I rather buying an American truck, instead of a Toyota....read morehide
