Said it above. Hope I can come to appreciate this for other values. Gas mileage is very disappointing. Advertised to get 24-27 mpg: the best we've gotten is 19. Gave up a great 15 yr old Honda Accord that got 28-32 mpg still.

I think the RAV4 is a great car for the price. It hasn't had a single issue mechanics wise and is great on gas. The front seats aren't the most comfortable, and the distance from the seat up to the steering wheel is kind of akward. Even on the lowest setting I feel the steering wheel doesn't come down far enough. I switched to the RAV4 from an Eclipse and found the transition to be very easy even though there was a big size difference. I would fully recomend anyone to purchase the RAV4 especially if they are looking for a family car....read morehide

- Slight rough riding if sitting in the back seat. More road noise than larger vehicles.

Great little car in snow or dirt roads. I have been side-swiped by a semi-truck on the Interstate (his fault), rear-ended on the Interstate and broad-sided by a 16 year-old driver, who ran a stop sign going 50+ MPR. In all three accidents, my car received a few repairable injuries without any major dents, and held steady to the road (no rolling). Amazing!...read morehide
