Purchased As New
I have owned a RAV4 previously ('96) and had loved it - but the 2010 that I purchased new in October (?10) has some issues that concern me. The dealership casually responds to my complaints hasn?t made it a pleasant experience either. It amazes me that you cannot drive this vehicle with more than one window down; the vibration that it causes inside is intolerable. You feel like you are going to damage your ear drums the vibration is unbelievable. My second concern is that if you drive in the winter through allot of snow - it packs up underneath causing the vehicle to shake at 50 on the highway. Third, I noticed the bumper coming apart at the driver side wheel well ? mind you no scratches or dents ? didn?t hit anything so I take it to the dealer figuring the part that holds the bumper on has broken off and caused it to separate ? the dealer quotes me over $800 to fix and says it isn?t a defective that it most of been in an accident? No way ? I think I would know if I had been into a ?fender bender? and as far as happening in a parking lot ? it seem there would be scratch and dents but nothing.
I am not impressed with Toyota or the dealership.
