- MPGs O.K. nice ride
- Toyota, poor visibility, VSC
Purchase a 2003 new, within 10,000 miles VSC failed, dealer replaced
module, failed again at approx. 20,000 miles, reprogramed system
tried everything possible, toyota finally amitted it's a problem get use
to it. replaced brakes and tires at 25,000 miles, ball joints, fuel gauge, oil pressure sending unit, fuel pump second set of brakes.
A door handle broke off in cold weather, toyota says it's normal wear
and tear, recently rear hatch latch broke off and when repaired the interior of the hatch is completely corroded. Contacted Toyota on several issues the just brush me off. The vechicle is a decent SUV
but I have gotten no support from Toyota....read morehide

- great ride
Mine is a 2001, has 210,000 miles on it, engine and truck runs like new. Unbeliveble toyota quality.

- Great space to ride in. I'm 6 foot, my wife is 5 foot (tall), we are both comfy in any seat. Power.
- Fuel econ. average 14.6 mpg (70% city/rural, 30% interstate) Time for Deisel?
In love with interior, heated leather rocks in New England weather. Dash controls simple and easy to use, all is in reach. Very easy to drive, (it is a truck, not a mini-SUV). Moonroof is HUGE! In 10 years I'll confidently give it to my now 6 year old daughter. Have 6 disc stacker in dash, slow to load, slow on random, doesn't play mp3 or wma format. No aux input without DVD system. Has tape deck, now where'd i put those? Best thing, it is a TOYOTA....read morehide

- It's a nice looking vehicle.
- Has a horrible steering ratio...a clumsy vehicle and a chore to drive.
Had to pay extra for every little thing because almost nothing comes standard. I actually dread driving it because it doesn't handle well at all. Where I live, in So. Calif., parking's pretty tight and this thing barely fits anywhere and makes getting in and out of parking spaces hard with its' poor steering ratio. In order for the kids to get in the third row, I have to step out of the driver's side, go all the way around to the other side to let them in and out because the seat's hard to raise and lower for them. You risk getting in an accident if you try to glance at the clock because it's positioned too low on the center console. Wish I never bought it!...read morehide

- Very comfortable, powerful engine, lots of room, and smooth ride
- only has average gas milage
Great vehicle - this SUV has plenty of room - got the SR5 fully loaded. saved $$ off the limited, but got all the limited gadgets without the upgraded cost. Great DVD - great sound system - and very comfortable leather seating. Ride is very smooth, but very responsive. Highly recommend this vehicle. Last vehicle was a 4-runner and this upgrade in size and comfort was well worth the extra money....read morehide
