- yes leather seats
ever one wrote that the leather seats are comfortable but the
engine is bad and the safety features and the gas specially
the problem with my sequoia is the leather seats rip easily
and they are wet when i bought this car then they start smelling bad
from the rain! and my engine clanks allot i got my leather
seats replaced. then i took it in again because of the clanking
noise then they said the car is fine that made me really mad
then i just got ending it by trading it in for a Chevy suburban
which has better service and care....read morehide

- cheap tires cheap brakes cheap leather seat egine makes a clanking noise
i read other reviews and i have the same clanking noise in my engine
the sequoia has the worst gas mileage in the world it only has h 4.7
liter engine compare to the Chevy Suburban it has a 5.3 liter engine
and it gets around 22mpg and 18 city so i traded the sequoia

- nice ride, fuel economy better than expected,
- many design flaws, poor quality parts, no support from toyota
Purchased sequoia in 03 and within months VSC failed, Toyota gave it
lip service but no fix. Brakes and tire were worn out at 20,000 miles,
normal wear and tear, (both next set of brakes & tires did last 60,000 miles), cruise control shuts off when you hit any bump in the road and
the kicks the transmission into overdrive on any grade. 2 door handles have broken off in cold weather, told normal wear and tear. Oil gauge, fuel gauge sending unit failed, front ball joint replaced all
fixed by dealer. Poor visibility, clock,4 way flasher, rear Hvac, are located where the driver cannot see. The single most aggravating issue
is the lack of support I have received from Toyato and the dealer. Basically they don't care....read morehide

I just purchased a new 2007 Sequoia and out of the 16 days I have owned it the vehicle has been in the Toyota service center for 11 days.
When driving the car home after picking it up I noticed the cruise control was malfunctioning. While using the cruise control it would juts shut off on its own.
I returned the vehicle to be fixed and after four days I was told the issue was corrected. When I had the opportunity to use the cruise control again I realized that nothing was done to correct this problem. The vehicle is now in the service center for 5 days waiting on a Toyota technician capable of fixing the problem.
Based on this experience with this vehicle and the way that it is being handled by the dealer I will never again look to by a Toyota vehicle and I will be sure to tell everyone about this poor experience....read morehide
