2008 Toyota Sequoia

- Great overall
- Initial Cost
For those on this board who complaint about the inside and outside looks and feels of the truck and about the low gas mileages, it's simply ridiculous. Did you open your eyes or seat inside the SUV BEFORE you made the purchase? And the gas mileage, if you want to haul 8 people around with high gas milage, should have bought 2 Prius cars instead....read morehide

- Stout Look, Ok Fuel Economy, Durable and Comfy
- Haven't found them yet
I recently purchased the Limited Sequoia,,,got rid of my Porsche Cayenne S!
Even though the Porsche had the power and ability to handle mountain roads at high speeds, i gave up the speed for comfort. The Porsche was too rough, uncomfortable and I was afraid to go offroad with it......didn't want to mess up the paint job. The Sequoia was the answer to my dreams,,,power, comfort, ability to go offroad,,,which I haven't yet...this will be the big test for me!
I love the room, seating, bluetooth, IPod adapter, nice control knobs, sits up high and you feel like your the Road King!...read morehide

- Great Horse Power ,Amazing Vehicle dynamics, Luxury ride
Brought a new Limited Sequoia and all I can say for those folks who didnt but it worried about gas mileage is that you are losing out on a great vehicle. The gas mileage on the sequoia is decent by all means.
You will loose out only 2-3 miles per gallon on the highway compared to most mid sized luxury SUV's.I have test driven Acura MDX ,BMW X5,Lexus RX400H but the Sequoia beats them all in handling, ride comfort and the interior space.
Even in the larger SUV class I felt that Chevy Tahoe and Ford expedition are useless compared to the Sequoia(Especially in the reliability part)...read morehide

- Nice to drive
- SLOW, Apperance, mechanical problems
Just purchased vehicle and had to take back to the dealer because of faulty wiring. Took the vehicle to the Mtns and it did poor in the snow and did not respond well to the uphill terrain. I thought I was making a great purchase but now I feel i have made a mistake!

- King of the road. Huge inside and outside. Great curb appeal. 17.2 mpg so far
- if i had any i would have bought something else
This thing is the new king of the suvs. it has more room then my family room. It looks great and is still so new that it has the flash factor. I have driven it in 18" of snow and it tracks excellent without snow tires. It is as smooth as a bmw yet you can take it in the backcountry. the jbl is a nice addition as well as all the power seats and jazz. I cannot wait for an endless summer of weekend camping trips. I also added a set of headrest dvd players. if you have kids they are a must. I think we all remember trips to grandma and grampas and the hand from the front seat....read morehide

- interior room size, nicely appointed seats, flexibility
- bad design, resembles chrysler aspen, blunt response
I was expecting more from Toyota. Sequoia misses it mark again. A blunt appeal and ride in 2008 is not just that acceptable. Interior are not so appealing as well.

- Roomy, handles great, fantastic sound system, lots of power with the V8 engine.
- Don't drive this unless you want to get noticed!!!!
This is an amazing driving machine. It handles like a dream, it doesn't feel like you're driving a huge SUV. There's room for 8 adults to ride comfortably, if you don't get the captains seats in the middle. If you're thinking of getting one, put out the extra money to get all the extra features. You'll fall in love with the luxury, and it's worth it....read morehide
