- Comfort, DVD system, smooth ride
- Gas mileage+large tank=high cost for gas, dirt/crumbs/toys lodge in seat rails in floor
We got our 2006 Sienna in December 2006 from Soutter's Toyota in Barstow, CA. It is a really smooth ride, I don't usually feel the bumps in the roads - and we had a lot of bumps on Fort Irwin Road.
I love being higher up and able to see over smaller cars. The seats are very comfortable and we had enough room to fit a large pet carrier with a cat and litter box, a dog, our 4-year-old son, 2 adults, and all of our immediate needs inside when we moved across the country in July.
We got the 6 CD changer and DVD entertainment system packet. Those options were awesome when we moved from CA to OH. Our 4-year-old can sit there and watch DVDs and be totally happy with life. Another great feature is the AUX input and electrical plug. When we moved across country, we bought a Playstation 2 and had it hooked up for our son to play with while we drove. I never heard "are we there yet."
One bad thing about this van is that in the floor where the seat hook in, you can get small toys, crumbs, and dirt lodged under the surface of the floor that is difficult to remove. You have to take the seat out and lift up the cover in order to fully vaccuum the dirt and stuff out.
The other bad thing is that when the gas prices were $3.20+ we were shelling out over $60 to fill the tank. Thank God, prices are coming down now and we are paying between $30-$40 for a tank of gas.
Last thing, very minor - I have to duck a little to read the speedometer.
