- I love this car. I did alot of research before buying. I am completely satisfied
- gas mileage is only about 19.5 MPG
My husband and I did alot of research before buying our 2006 Toyota XLE. We almost bought a Honda, but when I saw the options available on a Toyota and the classy body style of the Toyota I realized Honda didn't hold a candle to Toyota. Honda's interiors were all dark and I felt like i was in a dungeon. We are very pleased with out Toyota minivan....read morehide

- Very comfortable, excellent turn radius, nice looking
After having a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan that died on the highway due to a BAD transmission with only 65,000 miles on it, we went for the best of the best: the Toyota Sienna. The ride is smooth and comfortable. It's got a great look since they stopped putting that ugly plastic molding around the bottom of the entire vehicle.
In comparison to the Honda Odyssey, they're very similar, however, I find it easier to get in and out of the third row if you're forced to sit back there.
The middle row captain seats do not stow flat into the base of the vehicle.
The steering wheel adjustment is minimal.
We definitely feel like we've got a great ride and love the sliding automatic side doors & trunk....read morehide

- standard equipment,power,fuel economy,and ride comfort
the standard equipment list was so long,it also has many option, unlike the odyssey which has no options.
the 2nd row windows roll down, and the 3rd row windows open, and the A/C and heater work great.
the power is great for a minivan,i had to merge into a busy highway and a big rig aprouched and i steeped on the gas and the sienna pulled me all the way tell redline,i swear this is a great van in power,i also had a large load going through the mountains and it was great.
fuel economy is good anywhere from 18-21 city and 23-26 highway.
ride comfort is excellent....read morehide

- Good looking, comfort mini van.
- Poor MPG, Not enough power, Toyota sold me a recondition "brand new mini-van".
Everything seems ok, except the gas milege, the best highway milege is only 21, and 15mpg in city. Also, it seems the local Toyota dealer sold me a recondition vehicle(it had an accident or bodywork before I purchase it). I reported to Toyota corporate, but not yet receive any reply from them. I'm not too sure what I can do in this case. Most likely Toyota will denial such issue. Anyone has any idea how to solve such case??...read morehide

- Braking is very poor compair to Honda and Nissan "Don McGill Toyota"
I had a 2005 Sienna CE with 2000 miles and it already worn out rotors and pads. I took to a dealer in Houston, Texas for repair and ask to see if i can be done under warranty. The dealer name is Don McGill Toyota of Katy. They told that they seen Sienna brand new of the lot with 7K or 8K miles and rotors and pads worn out. They cannot repair it as warranty service. This is a very poor desing in braking system if what the dealer telling me is true and honest. The car is also very noisy under normal driving conditon. You cannot hear the stereo system at all until you turn the volume up o 26 or 27 level....read morehide

- Comfortable ride, dependable
- Ptemium fuel for best performance
My van is a 2004 XLE model which is essentially the same as the 2006. I thought that readers would benefit knowing about how the Sienna performs after driving it for 55K miles.
Overall gas mileage for combined driving is 21 mpg. On the highway the van will actually get 26mpg with regular gas and about 1 mpg more with premium. The owner's manual recommends premium for optimum performance. The van seems to run smoother when using premium gas.
The Captains chairs are very comfortable, especially on long trips. The driver has a good view except when backing up. At night the backup lights do not provide much illumination. The guages are easy to read and we like the Homelink that provides mpg information, direction, outside temp.,and has a button for garage door opener. The key fob has buttoms for the side sliding doors and also for the electonic liftgate.
The middle row Captains chairs are a little awkward to remove and rather heavy but you can get them out when necessary. The third seat goes down into a well with the aide of straps. If you purchase the XLE Limited model you can get this as an electonic option in package 3.
The only problem that I have had with the Sienna is when the driver's side window got stuck down. The van was out of warranty and because I was out of state on a trip, I had it repaired at a Ford Dealer. I have only had scheduled maintenance performed the rest of the time. Also, during the 3+ years that I have owned the Sienna I have replaced the tires and battery.
When I purchase a 2007 van Toyota will be at the top of my list....read morehide

- Extremely comfortable, lots of features
- HORRIBLE GAS--We bought this over all big SUVs due to GAS--BAD CHOICE!!!
We have only 400 miles on the van and have filled up 3 times! We have taken it back to the dealership only to get laughed at and told nothing is wrong. They were kind enough to fill up our tank but then sent us home and said tell us what it gets this time around! We love the van but the ONLY reason we got gave up our supercharged Tundra was for the gas savings. This is a joke. We have owned tons of Toyota's but we have never seen this. We are lucky to get 11mpg around town and 15mpg on the highway. My husband is totally upset that we spent this kind of money on the fully loaded XLE to get this kind of mileage....read morehide
