We found this 'jewel' with 90K and couldn't believe it had more than 25K on it. I don't know what model some of these reviewers own, but this Limited is VERY quiet, absolutley a wonderful drive and ride! We traded our great 04 XLE in and couldn't be much happier. It gets 23-28 on the highway and feels like a luxury car. I have driven Lincoln Town Cars for years, and know what comfort and quiet is. No, it's not quite as comfortable as the Town Car, but it is excellent for a van, and more practical on road trips. Most people who see it think it is a brand new one - that's how nice it is.
It's hard to find the really nice Limited's, but worth the search. We drove 150 miles to get this one. Toyota of Ft. Worth was outstanding in their treatment of us and I can recommend them, as well.
Can't comment on the reliability of this one, but if it is anything like the 04 it will be VERY GOOD. All vehicles are mechanical and will have issues at some point, but it appears the first owner of this took exceptional care of it, and liked it well enough to put 90K on it before trading.
This is our fourth mini-van and is by far the best of the lot!...read morehide

- Luxurous ... Spacious ...
- Far too too many small defects ... poor quality materials ... No Toyota support with less than 2 yea
Purchased As New
My $40,000+ Toyota Sienna XLE has had far too many "little" problems. This is my most recent.... My vehicle is less than 2 years old and has 40K+- so it is no longer under warrantee. I recently discovered that the fancy leather electric heated seats are cracking. Not just the driver's seat. My dealer has been wonderful but the Toyota District Service and Parts Manager refuses to repair them. When I phoned Toyota, they also denied any responsibility to repair them. These seats have not been abused. This is their luxury, top of the line, Sienna. It is parked in a heated and air conditioned garage. The passenger seat is rarely used. It seems that the life expectancy of a decent quality leather seat would be far more than 2 years. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to get Toyota to listen to me and to stand behind the replacement of defective materials used in their vehicles..... even if it has been driven for more than 36,000 miles before being discovered....read morehide

- nothing to say but neggative comment
- watch out for pushy and bad incosiderate sales people. noisy cabin, sluggish tansmission, rough ride
First I been to several toyota delership and everyone of the sales people are terrible. vehicle is whistling inside the cabin while driving. when changing lanes or entering a busy street it hesitates on accelleration which is bad. doesnt have a back up manual lever to fold third row seat just in case it goes out. wood trim looks cheap. bad position for cruise controls. bad customer service. watch out for hidden option choices by the time you notice it vehicle wont be affordable. vehicle is too much to be considered a family friendly van. I was told by the sales person that by the time the rollover sensor activates it will be too late....read morehide

Here is what I found while searching for "tire pressure light problem" which I had with my 2007 sienna:
March 3, 2006
The Office of Defect Investigations at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating consumer complaints that the tire pressure and regulating system on the 2004 and 2005 Toyota Sienna minivan can fail.
In one incident, a consumer reported that by the time he pulled his Toyota Sienna to the side of the road the tire was smoking and had burst into flame but the warning light failed to come on.
NHTSA has received 12 reports complaining that the tire pressure warning system did not illuminate when tire pressure was low or the tire was flat.
NHTSA has opened a preliminary evaluation to assess the scope, frequency and safety related consequences of the Toyota Sienna tire pressure and regulating system....read morehide

I have a 2007 Sienna Limited for about 5 months. The tire pressure light starts to come on about 2 months ago. I had visited my local dealer for 3 times in the last few weeks. They just could not figure out what is the cause. Last time they even replaced the computers (sensors??). But the light still comes on while driving on the highway. So for safety reason, right now I can only drive it locally. It's really a 38k junk........read morehide

- Your will see fuel economy after 7K miles Part 2/2
- Annoying -- "I Agree Button" - In Nav System, Super eager cruise control!
The dimming mirrors (rearview and side mirrors) really help diving at night and the folding side mirrors are a great thing when you are parking in tight spots.
The tilt windows in the very back are very helpful to keep the van COOL in Texas.
The Captain chairs in the middle row are the best; the car seats are at the right height and as added bonus, the retractable sunscreen and the automatic windows in the sliding doors are just very convenient.
The strap hooks for the child car seats are easy to access and the back strap hooks makes a ROCK SOLID installation of the car seats a breeze.
It has plenty of room for an adult to walk between the seats to the backbench. You can sit in the backbench, reclined a little, hook up a laptop to the 115V outlet by the third bench (The van has 2 x 115V) outlets. If you have a movie or pictures in your laptop --you can hook it up to the AV ports, and you can play your videos, music, picture through the DVD screen and the sound system.
For the MUSIC FREAK -- you can play an MP3 DVD off the DVD system (4.5 G). JUST IN CASE the 4 CD/MP3/WMA CD changer in the front dash (680M x 4), and the ability to connect an MP3 (Xgigs) player in the dash, and the ability to connect a computer (XGigs) on the AV ports in the back do not afford you enough music to listen.
Controlling the back / left / right air conditioners independently or synchronized is a very nice feature.
Blue tooth rocks, it has a great range The hands free system works very well, the voice activated system works well, the dial by number (when you give it just the number) is awesome, a 1000 entry phone book I do not know that many people!! Try insulting the voice activated navigation system and the answers it will give you will make you laugh.
ANNOYANCE The darn navigation system ask you to press I AGREE every time you start up the van.
Over eager to catch up cruise control - the thing will floor it trying to catch up -- lets say you ahve cruise set to 78Mph (this is Texas), then you slow down to 65 and then you resume -- instead of being a nice catching up increase on speed, the thing will just take off....read morehide

- Reliability, Safety, Room
- Options Packages, Gas milage
I have only test drove the Sienna XLE Ltd. and in my opinion it is a excellent choice for a minivan. I also hold the Odyssey in high regard. My only turn off with the Honda is its dash layout. Its buttons are designed for those who only have thumbs, too GM. Now if you compare the two, honestly, options and all, the Toyota offers more @ the top of the line. Maybe that is why they retail more??? A minivan does not need to be the quickest 0-60 for those of you fools who argue the case of HP and Torque. They both offer excellent engine choices that will get you up to speed and haul loads. They both offer dependability, high resale value, safety, comfort and roominess. The Sienna is my choice for the following reasons...Quality, Interior layout, Comfort, Options that the Odyssey does not offer, and partially because the Odyssey Touring only comes equipped with the PAX system.
Is it possible that those who want to bash one another's choice of minivan's have their reviews regulated? Not only is it childish and irresponsible but it doesn't help those who want to make a informed decision.
I plan on buying the 2007 Sienna XLE FWD w/option pkg. 1...read morehide

- 3.5L V^,mileage,comfort,ride quality,features,and price
- the HID are a big difference from typical Halogen lights
the 07 sienna just came out last month and i had a previos 04 sienna, and i took the freestar, town&country, sedona, quest, and the odyssey out for a test drive.
i liked the power, smoothness, and ride comfort of the sienna far more than the others. i also like the JBL sound system, the 9inch LCD DVD player is crystal clear, the gas mileage is anywhere from 19-20 city. from a recent 750 trip i averaged 26.5 miles per gallon and its not even broken in yet. the new 3.5L just blows the other vans away,i already needed to merge onto a busy freeway from a short on ramp and i got on it from 20mph and i looked down i was close to 70mph less than 4 seconds. passing is nothing in this thing. i love this van,the Laser cruise is great and the HID headlamps make it even more luxurious, the others didn't offer these features. the 2nd row roll down windows are great, the handling is by far the best besides the odyssey this van truely is a sports and luxury van!...read morehide
