- Trip computer, luxury ride, power, value.
- same boring exterior look for models from 04-09
I've had my 08 LE 8-passenger for 1.5 months now. I'm almost done with the first 1K mile break-in (currently ~ 900miles) and so far the experience is great. The van drives like a luxurious car, so roomy and comfortable that my toddler keeps asking to get on the van. We got our LE (with option 1) for $24.5K OTD and I think it's a pretty good deal. We have driven over the mountain (from SJ to Santa Cruz, CA)a few times and the van has enough power to climb up with ease. On the highway, we were surprised that it's so smooth and quiet. Combining hwy and citi driving, we have averaged ~ 22mpg over this first 900-mile stretch. I like the Odyssey exterior look and 2 siblings have Odysseys too, but after researching on the web, I was scared away by the many problems Odysseys seem to have. Plus, the $2K rebate in August from Toyota made our decision a slam-dunk. My siblings are pro-Honda, whereas I'm more for value and problem-free brand. I've had my 99 Camry for 9 years and with 90K miles later, it's still going strong w/o spending anytime in a shop. With that experience, I am confident that my new van will be problem-free for many years to come....read morehide

- comfortable riding, rommy inside, quite while driving
- local low MPG
I just bought Sienna LE(8 seats) recently. I have not tested it heavily on highway, but local MPG is very low, barely 13-15MPG. Hope it will be better on highway.
Rooy indise, good for family.

- very comfortable ride
- TOYOTA DOES NOT STAND FOR QUALITY ANYMORE; DOZENS OF RECALLS
Since getting the Sienna, we have gotten to know the service dept. intimately since our van is CONSTANTLY in the shop. I just got the back latch replaced, thanks to the latest recall I received in the mail.
Another very annoying problem many Sienna owners have is a very stinky smell that occurs EVERY time we start the heater up. The service dept. has spent so much time on this problem. The mechanic said it is a widespread problem, with no permanent solution. We have also had several seatbelts replaced. Each time one of the cheap plastic belts breaks, that means TWO visits...one visit to inspect the problem, a second visit to replace the seatbelt. DO NOT BUY THIS LEMON....read morehide

- Very comfortable for long rides
- Constantly in the shop for one thing or another
DO NOT PAY ATTENTION to the people who just RECENTLY bought a Sienna and love it.We have two Siennas. We researched reliability and safety extensively before purchasing. The first one was so comfy and rode so well, we bought a second one (2006) four months later. Are we sorry we did that.
We have had ALL the seatbelts replaced two or three times, the back latch has been replaced twice, the airbag alert in one of the cars blinks incessantly and they can't fix it. The homelink in one car never worked from the day we got the car and they wouldn't reimburse us. The transmission in the older car has been replaced. Both are very bad on gas usage. DON'T BUY THE SIENNA....unless you want to use all your vacation days at the dealership....read morehide
