I and my 3 kids thow up every time we go in the car. I gives you sickness. The transmission was replaced 3 times in 100000 miles.
The engine is making a exploding sound and smokes when ever working over 10 minutes. I am fighting with toyota to get my money back (35,000). Now to trade it in I get 12000 only. The safety is a hazard, braking is horrible, I crashed in my garage door. My kid has had cuncusions by not having the airbags deploy. Omg and the recalls are unbearable looks like I will trade in for a used 4 gen town and country like my fathers which has 359000 miles and runs like new. No problems on my dads Chrysler....read morehide0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Smooth Ride, Laser Cruise Control
- Cons
- Air Bag Sensor light already blew out
Decent Power, Capable handling, lots of room, especially with the 3rd row folded down. Plenty of safety features as well. By far the most luxurious minivan out there w/AWD

We've had our Sienna for about 6 months. We love it! It's a great family vehicle. We have three kids under the age of 5 so the 8 passenger seating is very convenient. We put all three kids in the middle row for short, around town trips.
It's very comfortable and great for road trips. It rides very nice and we can store a lot of stuff in it for the road.
The performance is great and fuel economy is very acceptable for a 6 cylinder vehicle. I don't know what we would do without it....read morehide1 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- fuel economy is good, brakes, space, options, excellent service
- Cons
- gets pricy as the options are added, could use some hand features that are in other vans
It is a WONDERFUL car, i absoluetly love it, i wish it had the foldable seat feature like in the caravan and stuff where it goes inside and all but it is a big car but you dont notice it unless you are reversing, when you have a problem with the car, about 99% of it is in the warranty (platinum) which is good cuz i broke a caliper (hit a speed bump too fast)... i got my radio switched 3 times, cuz my cds got stuck cuz i had home made ones with labels but they did everything without a worry, great offers too, and the accesories are a very low price. most reliable car i have....read morehide

- nice acceleration and smooth ride, comfort, average fuel economy for a Van
- Cons
- so far the only problem I encountered was its 12volts outlet malfunction
I don't have any negative comments right now for my 2008 Sienna LE. I have already 27000 miles on it and no major problems encountered. This car would is highly recommended for a family enjoying long trips.

- Pros
- Powerfull, comfortable, nice drive
- Cons
- Fuel economy
Toyota is falling victim to the same temptations as GM & Ford; they think it's all about power. I decided not to trade my 2005 Seinna in on the 2008 because 210hp is plenty for this van, I don't need 265. I don't like trading down to less mpg with gas headed for $4/gal. They handle the same, drive the same, but my 2005 averages 21mpg, 27 on the road. At 65,000 miles it still runs like new....read morehide

- Pros
- Trip computer, luxury ride, power, value.
- Cons
- same boring exterior look for models from 04-09
I've had my 08 LE 8-passenger for 1.5 months now. I'm almost done with the first 1K mile break-in (currently ~ 900miles) and so far the experience is great. The van drives like a luxurious car, so roomy and comfortable that my toddler keeps asking to get on the van. We got our LE (with option 1) for $24.5K OTD and I think it's a pretty good deal. We have driven over the mountain (from SJ to Santa Cruz, CA)a few times and the van has enough power to climb up with ease. On the highway, we were surprised that it's so smooth and quiet. Combining hwy and citi driving, we have averaged ~ 22mpg over this first 900-mile stretch. I like the Odyssey exterior look and 2 siblings have Odysseys too, but after researching on the web, I was scared away by the many problems Odysseys seem to have. Plus, the $2K rebate in August from Toyota made our decision a slam-dunk. My siblings are pro-Honda, whereas I'm more for value and problem-free brand. I've had my 99 Camry for 9 years and with 90K miles later, it's still going strong w/o spending anytime in a shop. With that experience, I am confident that my new van will be problem-free for many years to come....read morehide

- Pros
- comfortable, enjoy driving. beautiful interior. love remote back door and heated seats
- Cons
- wish I would get better gas mileage, average is about 15 mpg in city, standand radio is terrible,
doors rattle at 900 miles, awful standand radio, wish I had spent the extra mone for the upgraded one. Have 2000 miles on it, so hopefully the gas mileage will get better in time. Very comfortable van, love the interior, wonderful leather quality
