2008 Toyota Sienna

- Handling is a dream. Cargo space awesome. Dynamic laser cruise, DVD and gas headlights are lifesaver
- Can't move second row seats when you get Limited edition.
I have two small children and my parents live 300 miles from me. We often take weekend trips to visit. Now that I have the Sienna, the kids want to get in the car for any reason, just to drive around. There is loads of room for two large Britax carseats and for our luggage. The car fits me well. I am 5 foot 10. I love the navigation system, DVD, gas headlights and the parking sensors. The backup camera is very helpful at the supermarket when other patrons are walking behind your car. I find the instant gas mileage estimator to work better than the average mode. I have used this on long trips to save as much as a quarter of a tank on a trip that once took 3/4 of a tank, down to 1/2 a tank. Very helpful in helping to fine tune my driving habits to save gas any way I can.
I highly recommend this car. I never thought I would love a mini-van, but this Toyota has won me over ... bigtime!...read morehide

- The lexus of mini-vans, quiet, roomy, well thought-out interior, quality fit
- 23mpg on hwy, 18 in city, wish they had a hybrid
This van is so smooth, we have trouble not speeding in it. Kids love the DVD, Ipod connections. Seating is so comfortable, adjustable, and the limited trim level has memory seats, and mirrors, so going from my wife to me is a snap. Just put new Yokohoma tires on it and it is really smooth and handles like a car. 40k miles, still on first set of brakes, just regular maintenance. When is the hybrid coming, lets see what mpg that gets!!! Love the safety of ABS, VSC, TRAC, EBD, & BA in the STAR saftey system. Get in and drive one, you will see the difference. Check out the tight turning radius!!!...read morehide

- looks, Lexus like quality. NOT A CHRYSLER PRODUCT
My limited xle is top of the line. I have read all the reviews of the Chrysler T & C transmission shifting poorly, continued quality issues... could not pull the trigger on the slab butt town and country.
The Toyota rides like a dream, has excellent power. The resale far exceeds anything that Chrysler's owners could ever dream of....
it was a no-brainer..... Also, beware of Chrysler salesmen pretending to get on here acting like the Toyota's are not all that, and talking up the inferior Chrysler's. Just do your homework for yourself....read morehide

- lumbar support, inside appearance
- transmission slips in low gears at times. 14mpg in city, front parking sensors
transmission slips at times in low gears, dealer says it's normal. They advertise front parking sensors, they will not pick up a car directly in front of you. The laser cruise control will not pick up a truck if all the reflective surfaces are covered with dirt. Don't get anywhere near the mpg on the window sticker. 13 to 14 in the city....read morehide

- Great comfort, superb handling, impressive features
- limited navi system, awful voice commands
Owned a Honda Odyssey touring for 3 years before I got a 2008 Sienna; it's a step up from the Honda. Better mileage, more comfort, superb sound system--a more refined vehicle overall. Honda needs to play catch-up if they hope to equal or surpass the Sienna!
