After 10 months and 16,000 miles I have been generally pleased with the Venza. While there are a number of aspects of the car that are in need of updating/refinement, the Venza has proven itself to be a solid, highly functional vehicle that remains IMO one of the better looking rides on the road. Reviews have pointed to the dash, wind noise and firm ride as key negatives. I would concur that the car is not up to competive standards on those points. Otherwise the Venza is a great looking, solid feeling and highly practical ride that frankly is actually fun to drive. And with the V-6 and six speed transmission, one of the smoothest and most reliable drivetrains on the market, the Venza is very quick and dare I say fairly nimble especially when compared to more traditional crossovers and/or SUV's. Seats are relatively flat but wide and comfortable. They are in need of more adjustability for taller people, however. The volume button on the steering wheel is well placed as is the stalk and function of the cruise control. Turn signal stalk with its lack of the lane change indicator (hit it once and it blinks three times) is annoying as is the windshield wiper stalk. I also dislike the way Toyota bundles upgrades. Many have praised the optional Bose radio but its part of a package that includes the moonroof; can't get one without the other. Moon roofs reduce headroom and being tall I never get them. Consequently I don't have the radio upgrade which I'd love to have. The base radio is just ok.I love the power lift gate and fold down back seats. And speaking of back seats which do recline, there's a ton of both head and leg room back there, may be best in class. Toyota has not sold alot of Venzas since first introduced in 2009 although it seems that the redesigned grill and tail lights which give the Venza a more aggressive look have helped to increase sales. I hope Toyota keeps the Venza in the lineup and provides it with the appropriate updates and refinements, making a very good ride even better....MoreHide

I have been driving a Toyota since 2001. My first was a Camry and I loved it, then I had a 2007 Highlander, a 2010 RAV4 (hated it) and then a 2010 Highlander. I was looking for the love I had for my Camry and I finally found it with my Venza. It handles a lot like the Camry, is totally comfortable and has fabulous pick up. It's not too big and it's not too small, it's just right!...MoreHide
Pros it runs
Cons ugly rough ride, uncomfortable, over priced.

The dealership in Salem, Oregon, Capitol Toyota, was a bunch of sleazy guys who kept us there for nearly 12 hours wearing us down to the point we'd sign any thing.
