- Mileage, Manuverability, Price
- Drink Holders, Stereo, Seat gets uncomfortable
Overall I love my Yaris....I couldn't recommend a car more. I get at least 29 mpg city and have not taken it on a long road trip yet, but when I do have the opportunity to drive it on the freeway I get better than the 29. My only complaint, which really is silly, is that the drink holders are right in front of the heating/cooling vents. My coffee gets cold in the morning. I can close off the driver-side vent and have used the back seat vent to avoid the issue, but it seems like the only glaring design flaw....easily fixed. I have the mis-fortune of driving over an hour each way to work (which is why I bought the car) and the driver's seat can get a bit uncomfortable on my back....nothing too terrible, but the price of the cars rears it's head there. Last complaint, when listening to music with a strong bass-line, the stereo tends to vibrate. Otherwise, I love the car, I love how easily I can flip a u-ey. There is good visibility and best of all, less trips to the gas station as well as less money paid to the oil companies! I gave up my 16 mpg car and am happy....read morehide

- I get 40mpg Hwy and have checked it 3 times. Lots of power.
- No whistles and bells.
I love this car and am getting better gas mileage than was reported. I know this depends on the driver but I am very satisfied and know I've made the right choice. The biggest thing I miss is a compass...

- great on gas and a lot of interior volume for the size
- wife doesn't let me drive it enough
first gas fill was 36 mpg subsequent have been 40 to 41 mpg. This has been constant over the first 16000 miles we have driven it.

- Great on gas, very cute little car
- Can be a bit loud when shifting gears
I bought the Yaris about 4 month ago and I think it is just great! It is very small, but yet very roomy feeling on the inside. This is the perfect car if you have to make long trips to and from work like I do!

- great gas mileage
I just bought a 2008 toyota Yaris not that long ago and i love it... it is very awesome, it is a small car great for my figure, im a small girl about 5'2, that seats rise so i can see over the steering wheel. It drives great, i have had no problems with it.

- Reliability, comfort, muted road & wind noise, fuel economy, acceleration
- Short-person driving position, engine noise, lacks interior versatility
This is a nimble, comfortable, happy car. It is peppy at city speeds, and zips around at 80 mph with no sign of stress. The engine makes the typical amount of noise for this size class, but road and wind noise are hushed, and freeway cruising is smooth and quiet. Auto transmission shifts seamlessly. Front seats are very comfortable, and the back seat is acceptable for two 6-footers. Like most small Toyotas, the steering wheel is a tad too far from the driver. Trunk is surprisingly large, though a 5-door hatchback would be ideal. The car handles well; steering is quick and accurate and the car fits anywhere. Two-tone interior is very attractive, and although the plastics are hard, the matte finish and consistent graining give a quality appearance. Gauges are clear, controls are simple & intuitive, and stereo sounds better than I deserve for $15K. Center gauge location doesn...read morehide

- good looks, great handling, fuel economic, enough room for 5,
- compared to my old car, non., compared to other of its category, non, compared to sports car a lot.
from 1981 cadillac sedaddeville, 1986 corolla, 1990 corolla , to 1991 accord, to all my cars rest in peace.tho some of them are still alive somewhere. this car is great, i like the speed i can get, many people have complained about the acceleration but i have no problems, when good driving techniques are applied (dont choke the pedal, squeeze it gently). overal im really happy about everything about it, exept the driver seat being a lil higher but im taking the base off soon. other then that i would recomend it to anyone...read morehide
