I love this car, but my wife and I just became a family of three, making a two-seater no longer practical. So, time to move on and make someone else a happy owner of this 2001 Insight. I bought it with about 3000 miles on it in 2002 (had been dealer-owned), it was rear-ended and repaired a couple months later, and it was hit while parked in 2005 or 2006, causing minor damage, also repaired. No current problems whatsoever its been very reliable. Countless short trips to/from work, and long trips from Wisconsin to Connecticut, North Carolina, Florida, and Colorado - it's been great in every situation. Lifetime gas mileage 50 miles per gallon! This car is reliable, fun to drive, and has a cool, futuristic look not to be confused with the more Prius-like Insight that came out in 2009. Fewer than 18,000 of these were sold worldwide, so you will be driving something very unique.

This car is in great shape! Still bright red and shiny, with no rust whatsoever. No problems with the motor, batteries, drivetrain or anything mechanical on the car that I know of. I have complete records on oil changes, other maintenance, and repairs (possibly missing the documents from one or two oil changes, but otherwise should be complete) going all the way back to when I bought the car in 2002. Nearly all of the service was done at Honda dealerships.
