In a bid to prevent attacks on Pakistan prisoners, authorities in Kashmir stepped up security in jails. Recently a Pakistani prisoner Sanaullah Haq was attacked by jail inmates at Jammu's Kot Bhalwal Jail. Security officials were being deployed attentively outside the jail building in order to prevent any untoward incident inside prison premises. Senior Superintendent of police (SSP), Poonch district, SH Shamsheer Hussain said that the security system has been completely alerted round the clock in the prison. Meanwhile, the condition of Haq who is in a deep coma is said to be critical at PGIMER in Chandigarh.
