- back seat is small, large blind side when top is up
Purchased As New
Bought a new 2013 TDI convertible in May. Candy White with beige interior. The inside lights up at night with a choice of light color. Easy to drive, turns on a dime, smooth ride. The top goes down in less than 10 seconds and up in 11 seconds. The trunk space is much larger than I thought (fits approx 10 grocery bags). Back seats lay down for even more space. Back seat is tight. You can fit 2 people in the back but there is very little leg room. I have taken the car on a 6 hour trip, 2 in the front and one in the back with legs stetched out on the seat. Car came with bluetooth, Sirius radio, cruise control, keyless, it can be both an automatic or manual shift (but no clutch), still not sure how that can be, but it all works. I use the automatic ... An absolute blast to drive and the car gets nods, thumbs up and smiles when I take her on a drive. My 6'1" husband who drives an SUV, also enjoys driving the car. Probably still a "girl's car" but a man can be completely comfortable driving this car as well. Avg 36-38 miles city and 42 highway miles. Yes its diesel, but I have found I'm spending less money on gas because of the mileage. Overall, I love, love, love my 2013 tdi bug convertible. The most fun car I have ever owned.
