2010 Volkswagen Golf
There are 9 user reviews for the 2.0L 2 Door TDI trim shown below
- Excellent Fuel Economy; No Maintenance costs for 3 years; Fed Tax Credits
- Stereo's bass isn't impressive; No auto head lights
Purchased As New
Previously owned a 2008 Lincoln MKX where pretty much everything was automatic or voice controlled; it'll take getting used to turning on and off the headlights (violins playing softly in the background). I choose the diesel due to Federal Tax credits and excellent gas mileage. I only have 600 miles on my car and my only complaint is that the stereo isn't very powerful and the bass is extremely weak. I'm used to the premium stereo in my old car. Diesel is the price of premium gas but I'm getting a combined city/highway 34 MPG. My first long distance trip is planned and I expect to get way over the 41 MPG from the window sticker. The car handles really well during both city and highway driving. I haven't discovered any delivery flaws. The DSG automatic transmission is even smoother than my old Lincoln's. I expect to have this car for a very long time.
