- Incredibly fun to drive
- on bad roads, the ride is very bad
Purchased As New
my 2010 GTI is loaded - all but the Autobahn package - so no leather seats for me.
As a gently commuter this car is nice, quiet interior, great audio / nav system and very supportive seats.
As a 'lets find some corners' car, it excels. Lots of fun, huge traction and the 'little engine that could'.
Seats 4 comfortably although 6 footers will be cramped in back, and the hatch configuration is tops for luggage carrying.
With the 18" wheels and low profile tyres the ride on bad roads is very bouncy - but thats an expected side effect of a sporty vehicle.
Biggest criticism is in what's missing. At this price point (almost 30k after options), you expect rain sensing wipers, light sensitive mirror and more interior storage options.
