- Amazing Fuel Economy, Great Handling, Quality Interior, Lots of Space in the back and trunk
- Suspension a little stiff for city driving, Not too many Diesel stations around
Purchased As New
Finally a 50 State approved diesel. The car is well built and driving it is awesome. The acceleration is superb with such surd handling. I have driven Japanese and American cars up to this point and didn't realize that Germans truly have some engineering savvy. The attention to detail inside is amazing, from something obscure as clothed glove box and cup holders to deafen noise to intuitive dash controls. For a 23K car it comes pretty loaded. The DSG transmission is great, not always well suited for a quick acceleration, but nevertheless an amazing engineering feat. It delivers such smooth shifting and constant delivery of power to the wheels. Drive this car you will not be disappointed. Did I mention I am getting 38MPG on AVG with (50/50 city/highway) in middle of winter, which begs the question why would anyone buy a hybrid and suffer the lack of comfort and excitement?
