If you care about interior, this car has room for improvement. Don't get me wrong I LOVE the engine and space. This is a DRIVERS car. If you will carry passengers they might complain. Common complaint from GF: Passenger seat is manual knob turn (especially for lowering and raising the back rest). The rear seats have no cup holders.
MY complaint is the VERY laggy touch screen interface. If you use the ipod hook up and have more than 50 songs, its VERY slow. Most people end up using the aux input chord.
Besides that, the power and response is awesome!. The trunk space shocks everyone who sees it. And frankly it just looks GREAT. I'm glad i bought this model before the new changes to the grill (2012), the cars look like they are missing something. =l

This is my first VW. The Wolfsburg has the sport suspension so it sits a little lower and is a little bumpier but handles quite a bit better than the other models. I wasn't even considering the Wolfsburg and tried it after test driving the TDI, SE and a SEL. The TDI was a close second and is what I was hoping to purchase. It all went to heck when I made the stupid decision to drive the Wolfsburg as I was signing the papers on a SE (becuase VW wouldn't go below 3.9 APR on the TDI......all other models was 0%). Since this car would only be driven about 5000 miles/year, I decided the fun factor out weighed the cost of gas. For anyone that doesn't consider this an exciting car to drive, I'm coming off of a Toyota Corolla, Scion TC, and my other car is a Toyota 4 Runner. The cars I mention can put you to sleep they're so boring to drive. I did love them all but the VW is a totally different animal. I would imagine it would be the difference between a Corvette and a Ferrari for the well-to-do.
Cons:
The car is heavy. You can't pull the wiper blades off the window without doing this funky secret code thing. You have to apply the brake to start it. The windows fog up (but you can reseearch how to eliminate that problem).

Pro's: The stereo is awesome with touch screen and SD card slot. Bluetooth works fantastic. Handling and acceleration is amazing for the price. Heated seats, side view mirrors and washer nozzles work perfect. You could put three full grown dead men with a big bag of lime and a shovel in the trunk. The 17" rims are of excellent quality. The trim hands down blows away any Japanese vehicle. Turbo is great thus far. DSG transmission shifts at 7 milliseconds. NO TORQUE STEER ! ! ! ! (eat that Mazda owners)

I love this car. I know how bad it's going to be when something goes wrong with the turbo or tranny. For now, I don't care. It is so much better than my other secondary cars that it's not even funny. It's as nice as my co-workers Audi A4 and my other co-workers BMX 32 something or another. I finally own a car that I fell is of excellent quality. It's a total blast....read morehide

I have had this extremely fast, powerful car for about 7 months now. It has about 4700 miles on it and its running perfectly. I love how it has synthetic oil which means I just have to get an oil change every 10,000 miles! The Interior design of this car is just breath-taking! The touch screen radio, black leather seats(optional), and every little detail is just amazing! The engine hauls, at 200hp this car just takes off. When I barely press the acceleration, the car is gone. The engine is a TSI 2.0 Turbo, the same as an Audi A4. I am about 165 pounds and about 5'10" and I fit comfortably in the car. Have had the car about a month, about 3K on it so far. Highest fuel economy has been 33 mpg, overall work commuting is about 29.5. Any more power in a front drive car would be too much for the tires. Nicely appointed, fairly quiet cab and very comfortable. My last car was a 2008 nissan versa, this is a big improvement. I needed 4 doors for communting downtown with my kids to school. But to my suprise I didn't give up much from my old V8 car which I out grew and hated to trade. This car is great for freeway on ramps and the DSG is so smooth. The performance package is perfect. I took a road trip over 700 miles at 32 mpg while going 70 mph. It's not the TDI but for 4-5000 I can sure buy a lot of gasoline and get over 200 bhp. Bob King made it a nice experience....read morehide

I previously owned a 2009 Audi A4 and paid $35K for it but I just bought a Wolfsburg and not only do I get great performance, great MPG and its a steal for the price. This Jetta comes with more stand alone options than my Audi without paying a arm and a leg for!
