Purchased As New
I just had my 10000 mile maintenance done after 4 months of driving. The service at the dealership has been very nice and helpful anytime I have had to talk or deal with them. The fuel ecomony is great. This was the primary reason we bought the car. I get a solid average of 42 to 43 MPG and 600 miles per tank (appx.14.5 gal). I typically commute 70 to 100 miles a day. It is a mix or highway, city, hills, and traffic. The transmissin has a regular D mode that gets the best fuel. A triptronic manual shift and a S (Sport) mode that makes it very responsive and sporty to drive. All three of these modes shift all the way to the 6th gear so fuel economy is reached at highway speeds. The motor is a diesel so it tends to not coast like a car. With that said it is an easy way to slow down at any speed without having to use the brakes as much. The brakes are different from other cars I have had as well. There are times they tend to be sensitive and responsive when I slam them on but mostly they are a little less effective than the other cars I have driven. Lastly, the interior is very nice. The on board computer is great as is the sound system with the touch display. It is also pretty easy to use being larger display for the sound system. Once you get used to it you can mess with the sound system without taking your eyes off the road. In addition to that, the computer display and the sound system can be controlled by buttons on the steering wheel making it very easy and safe. The one concern I have is at high speeds with the winds in California from time to time can catch the car and I can feel it. Not a big deal but this isn't a high profile car.
