Purchased As New
I bought my Passat after test driving a number of cars including the G37, BMW 5 series, Mercedes C and E classes.... I then drove both the turbo 4 cylinder and 3.6 6 cylinder Passat. Although the Passat wasn't the quickest or the most luxurious of what I tested, none of the other cars were close to the Passat's fun per $ ratio. For almost half of what I would have spent on those other cars, I have a fun car for the daily commute. The 6 cylinder model that I bought has the right amount of punch for the hills around my house and the handling is crisp. My only complaint are the seats that seem to have been designed without comfort in mind.
