Purchased As New
I bought the care new and am really happy I did. I have 5,000 miles on it, and it just keeps getting better economy. The rating for fuel economy is 30 city, 40 highway; I am averaging 41.7 MPG, and that involves driving about 40% city, 60% highway, at altitude (~5,000 ft elevation), with liberal use of AC.
I did have a screw damage my tire - went through the bottom of the tire and out the sidewall. I have the 18" wheels, and that was a very expensive tire to replace.
Would I buy the car again, am I pleased? Yes and yes. I looked at a Prius and Ford Fusion, and had rented them both a number of times in the past - I like this car, the TDi SE - best. Trunk is huge, too, and at 6'2", I can sit in the back seat, behind the driver's seat (adjusted the way I like it), and there is plenty of leg room.
