2007 Volkswagen Passat Wagon

- Good fuel economy for it's size and class, comfortable seats and ride, standard sound system is fine
- The cost to operate the car are just too high, from oil changes on up.
I have a 2005 manual which was real hard to find. They had to use the locator to find it so I didn't get to test drive it. It is the tenth VW I have owned in a row, rabbits, golfs, jettas and a passat. Most of them used. I liked every one of them. This one I bought new and was the most expensive one so far and a real disapointment. So much so that it will be a long time before I consider a VW again. No fun to drive at all. It drives and rides like a Buick and I don't mean that in a good way. What a slug. Every other VW I had, even diesel rabbits had "farfagnugen" just that something that made evey VW I have driven from Bugs on up fun to drive. This car is expensive to own, not nimble, not lively, not light on its feet, no personality. They have up sized this model like American carmakers do to the point of ruinning it.
