Purchased As New
I have never bought anything as nice. Its very roomy, i love the built in sun visers in the back, i love the LED lights at night so you can see the buttons in the car. I love how the steering is set up. we like how the emergency break is a button and dont have to worry bout handles,, Our passat is a 2.0 tsi and uses regualer unleaded fuel. which works out great over here in germany. we did get american spec's so i cant wait to take it home to the states....read morehide

- Pleasure in driving, standard features contain many extras.
- Not too sure about having running lights on when driving in daylight. Wish it used regular gas also.

I'd never bought a VW before but went with it this time because of proximity to the dealer. It was a great decision. The car handles with more precision than the American cars I was used to and after a day's driving I was liking it a lot. I didn't realize it when I considered buying but a 3yr/36,000 mi. free servicing program is a plus. There are so many extras included in the standard package that I still haven't gotten them all down pat and I have had the car for almost a month. The remote controlled opening and closing of the tailgate is especially nice when it is raining and things need to be loaded. The car is quiet, has spectacular pickup which I didn't expect with a 2.0 engine so I guess turbocharging must work. In all I like the looks, I liked my salesman, I liked the whole experience and now like owning the automobile. Thanks Volkswagen....read morehide

- Good blend of fuel economy vs. performance. Looks good. Handles well.
- Headlights mediocre. Surprised a $30 K wagon doesn't offer HID (or even fogs) on options list.
Very nice wagon. A little pricey, but it really has no direct competition in the U.S. market. That said, it handles, rides and looks (IMO) much better than any crossover vehicle out there -with better fuel economy. Too bad americans don't like wagons.... This is a good car which VW could and would make great with more competition pressure from other makes....read morehide

- very good fuel economy, good comfort, great sound system.
- slightly hindered visibility from the drivers seat than the sedan.
I have had a Passat sedan for years and it was my favorite car of all time! It is the All Motion V6 model. My new wagon is the Komfort model with a 4 cyl 2.0 turbo. Took a little getting used to, but I now love this car quite a bit too. Good handling and turning radius for a wagon! would recommend it for the price to anyone....read morehide

- 24 mpg in city, up to 36 on hwy, handles beautifully, great pickup, ride, loads of room
- premium fuel
Previously had a 2006 Passat Sedan; they've fixed all the bugs that they had in the first year of the new model. The wagon drives as well if not better than the sedan, and is really practical... luxury feeling without the price.

- Radio, pick up, automatic tailgate, not sure about milage, car is brand new.
- Premium fuel, ride a little stiff but that's VW.
Looked at tons of wagons and even took some home. After all that I came back to the Passat. I traded my 2003 Passat GLX for a 2008 Passat 2.0 Turbo wagon. I know I would have missed my 03 Passat if I had not bought another one. this car has less bells and whistles but I still love it. Ihave two large dogs and it's great for them....read morehide

- Great Komfort, good gas mileage, love the sunroof and lots of room
I had a Honda Pilot before and traded it for
the Passat Komfort wagon and love it! It
has tons of room for moving college kids to
and from. A great stereo system, comfortable
seating and an awesome sunroof. I picked it
up in Birmingham last week and it had great pick-up
and passing gears.
Our daughter had a VW Jetta throughout high school
and college and when borrowing her car, I liked
the tightness of the steering, so ended up trading for the VW
Passat wagon and glad we did... This is a fun car to drive
with effortless driving!...read morehide
