- A solid car, high quality, drives fast,1-touch power windows (all four), great sounding 10 speakers!
- A filled tank, $40 - lasts me about 218 miles! Stereo system's base goes in and out.
[+] German engineering continues to do it for me, from the aesthetics to the mechanics, I have yet to be unimpressed. I have the 4-door Rabbit, the 2.5 liter 150 hp, 5-cyl engine moves when I want it to. I can feel what they mean when they refer to the fact that the car is welded to be one solid piece of metal, leading to an overall feeling of solidity and sturdiness. I would hesitate to get the 2-door model due to the fact that it lacks what the 4-door one has: in-dash 6 disc changer, power sunroof, driver and passenger heated seats, driver-side powered seat, 10-speakers throughout, etc, etc. For my money, I'm beyond pleased with my ride. I love the fact that wether the key is in the ignition or not, when you power on the stereo system, it works... and when you unlock the doors, if you do not open them within a couple of minutes, they relock themselves (a great theft precausion). Of course without a mention of any cons [-] I'd (or anyone...for that matter) be full of it to deny. Costing $40.00 to fill my tank, I've been only able to go est. 220 miles on a full tank. That would include typical city driving, as well as highway miles too. Also, the intensity of my base seems to every now and then go in and out, both during compact disc & ipod listening. I went to get it 'fixed' as they claimed to have done...only to find, within several minutes, the same exact defect still occuring. In the big picture, I love my red rabbit, and intend on continuing to stick with audi/volkswagen quality for the rest of my days.
