Loving this car so far. These are all made in Germany for now. I believe the Rabbit just won an initial quality award and total quality award. Hopefully VW's quality problems are behind them. I had a 98 VR6 Jetta and I spent a fair amount on strut mounts and one sensor, but honestly, I drove it kind of hard. If you are thinking about it and can afford a new car, I say go for it. Realize VWs have higher maintenance costs, but I think you get what you pay for (e.g. its better than the Japanese cars in its segment). Keyless listed in my pros is keyless entry, but I ran out of room. Fairfax VW was pretty good to deal with. I came prepared with internet price from another dealer. Pretty quick and friendly. Read about negotiating a car before you go buy and try to figure out what they actually go for. Look for other dealer's internet pricing as a good gauge. And honestly, don't buy new if you can't put some money down - don't get caught upside down in a car loan (i.e. oweing more than the car is worth).
