I've had my black Tiguan for a couple weeks now and I love it! The turbo engine offers a lot of pickup and "zippyness" compared to the CRV, Sorento, Rav-4, Outlander, Compass and Escape (yes I test drove them all!). I love the standard bluetooth, and the finish of the interior - even though I have the base model, it doesn't feel base like some of the other manufacturers' vehicles do. I wanted a small SUV that didn't feel huge (they're making them bigger and bigger nowadays) and this fit the bill. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for.
My one concern is that the handling is a bit different than what I'm used to - I had to swerve to avoid getting hit by a driver who was changing into my lane without looking (lovely) and the car did this weird rocking side to side motion. Perhaps this is because I'm used to driving little sports cars and not SUVs?
