2009 Tig SEL w/ Nav. I have had my Tig for just over 6 months and I just had my first scheduled service (at 10,000 miles) and, yes, it was free. I love this small SUV. You can't beat the 10,000 mile oil changes ... and all maintenance is free for the first 36,000 miles (including tire rotations, etc.). The vehicle is pricer than the CRV or the Rav4 but I think you get what you pay for. It's a nicely built and roomy SUV with AWD and has the engine of the GTI. Spend the extra $$, it is worth it. Great design, Great quality, Great Vehicle - PERIOD. Being the first model year you should expect some minor "bugs" to work out (my fuel door got stuck, I had a headlight and a airbag sensor fail) ... other than that it has been smooth sailing. By the time you are off warrantee anything that is going to rear it's ugly head will have done so. But this is the same for all new cars really (especially the first model year). I bet the 2010's are pretty much bug free.
