2011 Volkswagen Touareg
There are 6 user reviews for the TDI Executive trim shown below
- Luxury look and feel, perceived longevity (obviously, tbd..)
- AdBlue adds cost to the already high diesel cost
Purchased As New
When looking at the similar SUV's in the VW family (Touareg, Audi Q7, and Porsche Cayenne), the Touareg seemed to be the runaway steal. Built in identical platforms (they can easily pass for one another when viewed from behind), the Touareg simply outperformed the others in each important category to me, in my opinion.
Looks, again are similar (and with Executive trim, VW offered 20" wheels). Performance, edge to VW with the Diesel torque and mpg. Cost, hands down, VW. The way I looked at it, from an MSRP standpoint, VW TDI Executive is about $59k, Q7 TDI about $68k, and Cayenne Hybrid about $80k +.
Simply stated, if you are looking at a certain class of vehicle, and VW badge is ok with you, its a fantastic vehicle for the money.
