- Did not sacrifice anything to have a sporty but capable ride!
- Still thinking about it after a couple months...
Purchased As New
We bought a base model C30 T5 and have been nothing but happy with it so far (5 months later). We're scratching our heads about some of the reviews that say the seating in the back is cramped and the headroom is low; neither of these have been our experience (we even made guinea pigs of a couple tall friends in the back seats, just to make sure). Visibility is excellent; however my wife did stick a tiny fisheye on the driver's sideview mirror because of a blindspot issue on that side, otherwise we are both impressed with the visibility on all sides. Gas mileage with cruise control (but no A/C) is 33 mpg on the open hwy. WOOHOO!
We came to this car after a very successful run with a Subaru Outback and with the exception of clearance we feel like we've sacrificed nothing. The back with the seats down is much roomier than outward appearances would lead one to believe.
A+ ratings for acceleration, handling, front seat adjustability (I have some hip issues so this was a big deal--the driver's seat can crank up pretty high), and sound system.
The car was a little expensive but we've enjoyed it so much so far that we're really not complaining. I guess we are a bit leary of maintentance costs once the excellent warranty expires, but we will have to wait to cross that bridge.
