2007 Volvo S60
There are 9 user reviews for the 2.5T AWD trim shown below
- Fun to Drive,
- Bad turning radius
I 100% recomend that if you are interested in purchasing this car buy it! I looked at the S60 AWD, the Bmw 328 XI and the lexus is 250 AWD. The Volvo was by far the best choice. I test drove all of these cars and the Volvo was the best combination of proformance, comfort and safety. The BMW rattled when it hit bumps and the Lexus felt like a tin can. The S60 is a truly soild car and is in my opinion the best sedan in its class. I have had it for about 8 months now and nothing has gone wrong with the car. The steering in corners is great, and the DSTC (stability controll) can be turned off. NJ gets a lot of snow and ice and the DSTC is amazing at keeping the car in controll during winter weather. I love the S60 AWD go buy one!!...read morehide

- Fuel economy is great, comfortable, duel climate controlls and heated seats
- leg room in the back seat
I absolutely love this car, I bought the 2007 Volvo S60 2 months ago and can't get over how comfortable and safe I feel in this car. The fuel economy is great and I love how the car handles. I feel the turning radius is car if fine considering I used to own a 96' toyota camry that had the same turning radius. Heated Seats and AWD is going to come in handy this winter. Go test drive one today! You won't regret it!...read morehide

- The car is a joy to drive on the highway and has Volvo safety to count on
- The turning radius is very poor, back seat room less than comparables
I leased the 2007 Volvo six months ago and have put 7500 miles on it. There has been no reason to take it back to Volvo for service. I am having lease remorse, if I could take the car back I could - due to the awful turning radius on this. Last week I drove a Grand Marquis as a rental vehicle and was impressed that I could actually turn into a tight parking spot. Two other considerations, the trunk is large, but there is little vertical space, large packages will not fit in. The back seat also have less room than comparable vehicles.
That all said, the vehicle is quiet and responsive on the highway. There is the benefit of driving a safe vehicle and it has been trouble free. I recently made a 400 mile road trip averaging speeds between 75 and 80 and had gas mileage in the 27 mpg range.
It is not a head turner, but this car is competent in all respects except having to go back and forth several times to exit my garage....read morehide

- Exceptionally comfortable front seats. A lot of safety features. Clever design, great ergonomics.
- Ride is rough, almost jerky. Visibility is not great, although power headrests help.
I think, overall it's a good solid car. If one is looking for a European car that has an average reliability (according to CR), good looks, not very common and does not require to carry more than one adult passenger and two children, one should definitely consider the Volvo. The 2.5 L turbo is a great engine and delivers superb performance. Personally I would prefer a standard transmission but it was not available on this trim....read morehide

- Responsive, comfortable front seats,
- Ride is loud, power is a little too raw for me
I am leasing a new 07 S60 2.5T, Black with Taupe interior. It looks great when clean. It's very quick off the line, and does handle pretty well. I drove an Audi A6 last, and loved it. This is my first new car experience, and I found that even with a new car, you can have problems. There is a rattle coming from the rear suspension that has been there since day 2. I've brought it in 3 times. I'm currently waiting for them to repair it, but so far, I've been very frustrated.
Before you buy, listen to the road noise. It could be a fluke, but the rear shocks may not be very good.
I miss my Audi...read morehide

- fast, sleek and love the look of it
- the back could use more leg room
I absolutely love this car. It was supposed to be my husband's car. I drive (or should I say drove) an Acura MDX, but I have switched with him. I love the zip of this car. Very nice ride!!!
Since it doesn't have XM radio (which I was surprised) I like that I can play my Ipod through the sound system....read morehide
