2010 Volvo V50 User Reviews
- $17,154 - $19,881
- Extremely comfortable seats, intuitive layout of controls, quiet and smooth ride
Purchased As Used
I listed my car as a used car because it was a dealership loaner vehicle with 5500 miles (so I got a great deal on it). It has all the new car warranties and the Safe + Secure package. I traded in a Saturn Vue (SUV) on Thanksgiving weekend for this cutie for better gas milage and similar cargo space (and more luxury).I LOVE this car!!!!!
This wagon is so comfortable (I have power front seats) and the cabin is so quiet compared to the SUV, it is very smooth to drive (can barely tell when the tranny shifts) and has plenty of acceleration. The dash layout is easy to get used to and seems to be very intuitive. I didn't have any acclimation period to get used to the V50, it feels like I've been driving this car for years.
I love the moonroof and HD radio. Options I would like to have added: Homelink, electrochomatic rearview mirror and heated seats. Overall, its been great for the past 6 weeks....read morehide

- Comfortable, nice leather, color options, handles well
- Needed dealer tweaking for AC problem
Purchased As New
I get a lot of compliments about the appearance of the 2010 V50. It is within 1" length of my '89 Honda Prelude but can fit 10ft long pipe or planks! It's cute, fun to drive, easy to operate (including getting back seats down, etc.) and very comfortable. I wish it was getting better gas mileage (24 city) but overall it's been a perfect vehicle for me. Drives like a car, hauls stuff like a truck. Leather interior with wood option is beautiful. It also handles well and has a tight turning radius. Good for getting around easily....read morehide

- Lots of Room in the Trunk, Feels Safe, Looks Sharp
- Not roomy in back seat, lots of silly isues

I bought a 2005 Volvo V50 with 9995 miles. Car runs smooth, great gas mileage, looks sharp and has deceiveingly good cargo space in the back without putting the seat down.
The issues I have are problems with the key not working, the radio going out from time to time, the seat broke, the non leather fabric I have stains with any type water hitting it.
No major repairs and I am at 97k miles and the back breaks didnt need a repair until 80k miles.
I recommend this car and I also recommend having a key battery in your car as when the key battery dies you cant start your car....read morehide
