Currently driving XC90 but my next SUV will be the XC60. Love the way it handles, the power, cargo room, and sleek look.

Pros

Comfortable, sporty and has plenty of space

Cons

Pricy and for the money, the technology should be better and easier to use.

Hard to believe but I’m coming from a 2010 Range Rover ( Mr. Thirsty ) . I enjoy driving this car more around town.
Plenty of zip. I went with the upgraded sound system that is good not excellent . It’s a little rolly when it come to corners but you can get over that real fast.
Do wonder why car of much lesser value come standard with xenon headlights and extra on the Volvo.
Plus I like the fact you do not see the XC60 nearly as much as the Q5 or X3 .
Volvo is now beginning to attract the car enthusiast, safety yes… but there is more to driving .

Purchased my new 2012 xc60 last November. Love everything about my car. I feel safe driving it. Did a long trip with it where I was a passenger...I felt as if I was in a first class seat in an airplane. Still my hubby and I fight who get to drive it.
The car handles real well in heavy summer of Florida. My grandparent love it so much as a passenger, they are looking to purchase one this fall....read morehide

I'm not just a fan, i grew up with volvo. when i was a shorty my father drove 264 GL until few years he changed to 240 GL. he drove it until i was 17 & bought 940 in 1997. then my father bought 2004 s80 while having the 940 together. we had both cars until 2010 just after 6 years of my fathers passed. so i practically grew up with volvo.the thing is i was sooo looking forward to that xc60 concept design to be in the market. i know the interior of xc60 concept was very high end and futuristic and due to that i'm sure the cost was even higher to put it in the market.but why cant volvo just take the exterior of xc60 concept and put into the market.the design was so damn good.i must say everybody would agree with me. the current design was catchy too but it just make me think twice about buying it since i was so looking forward to that sporty sexy xc60 concept. now range rover evoque comes into the market and it looks better than the current xc60.if volvo put the concept in the market i must as it would be the winner vs evoque. i still heartbroken...read morehide

Traded a woefully underpowered 2011 xc90 and I have not looked back, best move I have made. Driving is fun again. This SUV is the real deal. Great, useful features, a little tech. but not overwhelming. Bi-xenon adaptive front lights are great. The turbo six is amazing. Decent gas mileage so far. Cargo room is great...everything folds completely flat--not true in the xc90. After owning three SUVs, the XC60 is the most car like. It has taken getting used to being a bit lower, but the power and handling are phenomenal. I feel like I am driving a race car with the room of an SUV. Volvo safety features are second to none. If you can get by with seating for five, give this SUV a look. Most of all take one for a drive. I love everything about it so far. And it is a really sharp, stylish SUV....read morehide
