From Road & Track

Today, a configurator page for the 2019 Ranger went live on Ford's website, indicating the truck would start at $24,000 with a base two-wheel drive regular-cab model. There's a problem with that: Ford has no plans for a regular-cab Ranger. A Ford spokesperson told us the configurator went live by mistake today, and its information is inaccurate. The spokesperson also confirmed there won't be a regular-cab Ranger.

We won't have to wait long for pricing though, as we're told an accurate Build & Price page for the 2019 Ranger will go live some time next week.

The configurator, which was accessible from the 2019 Ranger landing page on Ford's site, also indicated pricing for other model variants and various option packages. Ford tells us this information was inaccurate, too.

The 2019 Ranger is expected to hit production towards the end of this year, arriving at dealers early next year.
