Yahoo Autos 2023 Ram 1500 Rebel and TRX Get Limited Grey-Colored Lunar Editions
Ram revealed on Wednesday a new trim for its 2023 1500 Rebel and 1500 TRX pickup trucks called the Lunar Edition, sporting an exclusive Ceramic Gray paint job and offered in "extremely limited quantities."
The 1500 TRX Lunar Edition is the more exciting of the bunch to us, packaged with the TRX Level 2 equipment group, which gets you things like exterior graphics, 18-inch bead-lock-capable wheels, a sunroof, a spray-in bedliner, and more. Inside you'll find blue accent stitching, embroidered seat backs, carbon fiber trim, and a unique center console badge. Under the hood sits the tried and true Hellcat-sourced 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine, rated here at 702 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque.
The Ram 1500 Rebel Lunar Edition is nearly as exciting, with a standard 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 as standard. It also gets the Level 2 equipment group, which includes its own graphics, a 12-inch touchscreen, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, an eight-way adjustable powered driver's seat, and 18-inch gloss black wheels.
"Our passionate customers tell us their Ram trucks are an extension of their personality that allows them to stand out from the crowd," Ram CEO Mike Koval Jr. said in a statement. "The Ram 1500 Rebel and TRX Lunar Editions are great-looking trucks with easy-to-use features that do just that."
The 2023 Ram 1500 TRX Lunar Edition will carry an MSRP of $108,340 including destination, while the 1500 Rebel Lunar Edition will start at $72,205. Deliveries are set to being this spring, though Ram did not reveal just how many Lunar Edition units it plans to make. Expect some serious dealer markups as a result.
