  • The 33 examples of this Alfa Romeo will be built by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, a legendary coachbuilder.

  • Each custom-assembled example will be designed in collaboration with the owner, which means every 33 Stradale will be unique.

  • This limited edition will be available with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that makes 620 hp or a battery-electric powertrain that makes 750 hp.

Alfa Romeo has good news for 33 lucky customers: The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale. This ultra-exclusive, custom-built homage to legendary Alfa Romeo prototype racers is heading to limited production.

These limited-edition machines are available with internal combustion or battery-electric power and will roll out of historic coachbuilder’s Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera workshop.

The turbocharged V6 makes 620 hp and feeds that power to the eight-speed automatic transmission.

From there, power hits the rear limited-slip differential before traveling to the rear wheels. This combination is good for a 206-mph top speed and a sprint to 62 mph in less than three seconds, Alfa says.

The battery-electric variant boasts 750 hp. The company is tight-lipped on the details of the powertrain, but the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore has a similar power figure from three electric motors.

The GranTurismo Folgore’s powertrain also gives the car all-wheel drive. Though, it’s impossible to say it’s the same system without more details from Alfa. Battery details are also limited, but the company is projecting a 280-mile WLTP range.

Of course, a supercar, especially one as bespoke as this 33 Stradale, is more than just a motor on wheels. The foundation of this custom supercar is a carbon-fiber monocoque and an aluminum H-frame.

Affixed to this structure is a double-arm suspension, like its Stellantis stablemate, the Maserati MC20. Stuffed inside these control arms is a set of active dampers, with a nose lift at the front to help get over those pesky speed bumps.

On the inside, the 33 Stradale is expectedly posh. In front of the driver, you’ll find what Alfa calls a 3D telescope display. This instrument cluster is flanked by a Uconnect media screen that sits just above the center console.

Though, unlike most modern interiors, the screen isn’t the focal point of the interior. Instead, the simple, minimalist design shines as the star of the cabin.

Now, here’s some bad news. If you want one of these, you’re going to have to wait until one of the prospective owners wants to thin their collection. Alfa Romeo has already sold all 33 examples of the 33 Stradale.

As for the price, judging by the individualization through the process, there are likely 33 different price tags. Though, as the saying goes, if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it.
