Dodge Charger Daytona EV Starts at $61,590Dodge

The all-new Dodge Charger Daytona EV is almost ready for showrooms, so it's not surprising that Dodge has finally confirmed just how much the new electric muscle car will cost when it lands on dealership forms. Also not surprisingly, the price has gone up — although you may be a little startled at how much the base price jumps compared with the outgoing gas-powered models.

Dodge says that the Charger Daytona R/T will start at $59,595, but the mandatory $1,995 destination fee raises the real base price up to $61,590; that price includes the mandatory-for-2024 Direct Connection Stage 1 power upgrade that dials up the electric motors to 496 horsepower and 404 lb.-ft. of torque. The more powerful Scat Pack — which, for the 2024 model year, comes with a Direct Connection Stage 2 option that boosts power to 670 hp and 627 lb-ft — starts at $75,185 after the delivery fee.

The prices aren't quite in line with purportedly leaked numbers shared on Monday. Both the R/T and Scat Pack's official numbers are higher than that leak suggested; that said, the prices released by Dodge today do not include the $7,500 federal tax credit that Stellantis says will apply to leases, which would bring the overall MSRPs officially announced within spitting distance of those anonymous released numbers. Pricing for option packages shared in the apparent leaked documents are consistent with numbers announced by Dodge today, however.

Just as it did with final-year gasoline Chargers, Dodge will continue to show dealer allocations on the Dodge Garage website. First-year cars will reach dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2024, and will still officially be known as 2024 model year Charger Daytonas.

Four-door electric Charger Daytonas, inline-six-powered Chargers, and the still-unannounced tri-motor SRT Charger have not had pricing announced yet. We know that four-door Charger Daytonas are expected to begin production in the first half of next year and that inline-six cars — specifically high-output two-doors and standard-output four-doors — will begin production in the second half of 2025.
