2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed Photo Gallery
The Goodwood Festival of Speed is huge: 200,000 spectators wandering the parkland surrounding Goodwood House in the sprawling green pleasantness of the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex, all there to watch hundreds of the greatest race cars ever made driven up the 1.2-mile-long driveway of the the Duke of Richmond. There was a king there, too, Richard Petty, and there were world champions in F1 like Fernando Alonso and Jackie Stewart. It’s a bucketlist item in anyone’s bucket. Make plans to go now, or go to the Goodwood Revival later this year. Or the Members’ Meet. But do go.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of MG, and the giant "Central Feature" sculpture reflected that mark, with a pair of Morris Garages models suspended in space over the crowd. That's a Mk1 MGB on the east end balanced by a new all-electric Cyberster on the west end.
